Jess is a local Darwinite and loves this tropical city! She is an extremely experienced physiotherapist having worked in the clinic for over twenty years. She graduated with honours from the University of South Australia and has gained a wealth of experience working both locally and in the UK. She has completed her post graduate studies in Sport and Exercise Physiotherapy from the La Trobe University in Victoria and is currently completing her Masters in Sports Physiotherapy. Jess has a strong interest in the treatment of Osteoarthritis and is conducting the clinics GLA:D program which is part of a national study on the treatment of knee and hip osteoarthritis. Jess also presents for Sportsmedicine Australia on Adolescents in Sports and has a particular interest in the helping youth with sports injuries. She has covered physiotherapy with NT Netball teams at national championships, with NTIS athletes, NT swimming and for Strike League cricket.
Jess has completed APA accredited Spinal level 1 and 2 courses and enjoys helping patients with more complex spinal disorders.
When she’s not at work Jess enjoying spending time with her 3 boys and husband, fishing, and travelling
