Core Stability
ImageCore Stability refers to the central area of the trunk, around the lumbar spine. It is the area of transfer of force and energy from the lower half of the body to the upper parts of the body and vice versa. If the core is not solid, stabilisation is not achieved and transfer of energy is inefficient.

Poor stabilisation leads to a risk of back pain, knee, ankle, hip and shoulder injury.

This basic Core Stability course includes three classes and one visit for realtime ultrasound. In these classes clients will be taught how to activate the deep core muscles namely transversus abdominus, pelvic floor and multifidus.
